Hockey is not an end. It is a means to an end. There is nothing inherently good about scoring, forechecking, backchecking, or winning. It is only good if it promotes education and learning. Those that come away with a higher work ethic, honesty, and integrity are the true winners. Hockey does not build character, rather it reveals it. It's these values that do more than anything else we develop that will be the true measure of how successful the BPYHA is.

Message to All BPYHA Families |
|
Another organization has recently approached City Hall with plans to replace us at our three gambling sites.
If this happens, the fees for BPYHA will increase significantly.
This issue was originally on the City Council agenda for Monday, November 20, at 7:00 PM. At that meeting, the Council will table our gambling site issue and will not hear comment on it. The issue will be on the agenda again in December or January. Please join us at that Council meeting wearing your Pirate gear and help support us. We need to let the City and community know how much we rely on our gambling proceeds to keep our costs down. We cannot afford to lose our gambling operations!
If you are not able to attend the meeting, you may send an email or mail a letter to the Council. Click here for contact information for Council members. |

Clarification of One Time Choice Rule |
|
Click here for an clarification of the One Time Choice Rule between Brooklyn Park Youth Hockey and Champlin Hockey. Please Note: When a player has started out in BPYHA and has chosen to switch to another association, waivers are absolutely necessary and are required each and every season.
